UP and Bihar to experience thundershower in next 48 hrs

In its weather forecast for July 10, the Indian Metrological Department (IMD) predicts fairly widespread rain or thundershowers to occur over Konkan & Goa, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Gujarat State, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
Further, fairly widespread rain or thundershowers would occur over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, and Andhra Pradesh and scattered over Jammu & Kashmir during next 24 hours and decrease thereafter.

The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) said that isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur over Punjab, Haryana, Uttrakhand and HimachalPradesh during next 24 hours.
During next 48 hours, isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected to occur over Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, , Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, IMD said.

In the weather outlook for July 12, the met department forecast aainfall activity to increase over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and northeastern states. It also anticipates a fresh western disturbance to affect western Himalayan region from July 10 onwards.
