Tata Motors opens Nano sales in six Indian states including Bihar

Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has opened Tata Nano sales in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from November 22, 2010.

Tata Motors has tied up with 26 banks in India to offer customers with loans for purchasing the Tata Nano. The company’s new 250,000 cars/year plant at Sanand (Gujarat) is fully operational. Tata Nano sales have already begun in Kerala (since August 2010), and in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal (since October 2010).

Tata Nano features a two-cylinder 624cc engine, which delivers 35 PS at 5,250rpm and a torque of 48Nm at 3000 rpm. Tata Nano is available in three variants, which include Tata Nano Standard, Tata Nano CX and Tata Nano LX.
