Bihar government has decided to constitute five member upper castecommission to identify the economically and socially backward among the upper caste and suggest ways and means for their uplift.
Reports says that the Commission is likely to suggest reservation in jobs for the poor among upper caste. The tenure of the commission initially will be three years.
The Commission will conduct a comprehensive study of problems faced by the economically backward among upper caste groups.
