IOC scheme to woo customers

PATNA: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Limited has launched a scheme under which its Bihar and Jharkhand customers, on purchase of petrol or diesel worth Rs 500, can SMS their cash memo number to register them-selves for a lucky draw at three different levels.

Launching the scheme in Bihar at SR Petro Shoppee at Phulwarisharif, IOC GM B B Chaudhary said the scheme is the first of its kind in the oil industry. The state-level draw would be held after the completion of the scheme and will offer Maruti Alto car as first prize.

The second and third prizes are Bajaj 150 CC motorbike and Sony LCD respectively. Besides, lucky draws would also be held at every retail outlet across the state, prizes for which range from gold coins and colour TV to solar lantern.

Two lucky draws each would also be held at the IOC’s five divisional offices in Bihar and Jharkhand. The prizes would be 100 CC Bajaj mo-torbike, Sony LCD TV and digital cameras.

IOC DGM Sandeep Makker said the unique feature of the scheme is that customers at every petrol pump would get prizes under it.
