The film won the coveted honour for the ‘Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment’ category. Khan showed his gratitude before hundreds of fans in Nagpur a, during the promotion of his upcoming release ‘Ready’. Loved by critics and moviegoers alike, ‘Dabangg’, which got the citation “answers the need of cinegoers for entertainment rooted in Indian soil”, has clinched several other popular awards this year.
