PATNA: Over six lakh foreign tourists came to Bihar in 2010, an official said here Thursday.
“The number of foreign tourists has increased from 63,321 in 2005-06 to over six lakh in 2010,” state Tourism Minister Sunil Kumar Pinto told reporters.
Pinto said the government has decided to focus on tourism sector as it has potential to generate employment to business opportunities for the locals
Great news!!……yet another feather added to the success cap of our bihar…..i congratulate the govt. of bihar for this, especially the tourism department…now, my dear friends that day is not too far when bihar will be the most sought after tourist destination of the country…bihar is running in full throttle on the development track….But, what we biharis need to do is keep faith in the current govt and support it to the fullest and be patient
