Young Press Reporters bring concrete changes in Bihar

Young Press Reporters from Bihar have come to the arena to fight the curse of Child Labour, Child Marriage , Other Child related Issues, Environment Protection and Other social issues
A group of children, all aged around 12 from from Vaishali District have started a quarterly newsletter called Hamari Baat, Hamari Awaaz

Their effort brought Fruit when the Ministry of Human Resources appointed a Teacher in the school after they reported that there was no Hindi Teacher. In another incident the authorities were forced to intervene when they reported that there was several irregularities in teaching at Shivnandan School in Rajapakar.

Their initiative is now globally supported by UNICEF and a local NGO Supramental Foundation. Close to 300 children are now members of this Young Brigade.They follow all the conventional Media Practices including Reporting, Editorial Meetings, Discussions, Printing and Marketing
Their Newsletter have grown to have around 5000 regular subscribers and is increasing. Most of the children find it a satisfactory service apart form their Studies. These small guns have finally started bringing big differences in the society.
