Bihar Government has decided to issue Identity card to all its ministers. Until now no Minister used to get Identity Cards.
“The cabinet secretariat has began the process,” an official said. Such cards were until now made available only to bureaucrats and legislators.
The official said due to lack of identity cards, Bihar’s ministers often faced embarrassing situations while visiting other places in India — as they could not prove who they were.
