Bombardier Global 6000 corporate jet world tour reaches India

Bombardier Aircraft India ImagesAerospace major Bombardier Thursday said that its new Global 6000 corporate jet world tour has reached India and will travel to various destination in the country till July 7.

“The Global 6000 jet is receiving an astounding reception in India,” said Nilesh Pattanayak, managing director, South Asia, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

“Indian customers are extremely discerning and they recognise that the Global 6000 aircraft offers the best in cabin technology, design and comfort.

The aircraft arrived in the national capital July 1 and is showcasing its flight deck that features a latest avionics suite which provides the pilots with greater level of control and comfort.

The aircraft, which sports a large cabin, can fly non-stop for 6,000 nautical miles – Delhi-Melbourne, for instance. It can carry eight passengers and four crew members.

According to the company, India is among a number of countries which have been considered to be key emerging markets for business aviation.

The company’s business aircraft market forecast, published in June, predicted that business aviation industry would deliver 1,345 aircraft in India for the 20-year period covering 2012-2031.
