Monsoon Session 2012 of Indian Parliament from August 8

The Monsoon sessions of Indian Parliament would start from August 8 once Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections are over. The Session would end on September 11.

The Session would start immediately a day after the Vice Presidential Polls  on August 7, 2012.

The monsoon session, which usually starts in July, got delayed due to the presidential election July 19 and swearing-in on July 25.

The Session would see an immense uprising against the Government in the wake of passing the Lokpal Bill. Social Activist Anna Hazare is launching an indefinite strike from July 25 for passing the Jan Lokpal Bill. Further Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev would launch his nationwide campaign from August 9 against Corruption and Black Money.
