Miss World Title is the most glorified award any Girl can acheive in her Life. Unfortunately, India has very little success in getting a Miss World Title. This Year all eyebrows are raised towards Indian  contestant  Vanya  Mishra, a 20 year Old Model from Chandigarh  and current Pantaloon Femina Miss India. She is representing India at the Miss World 2012 pageant in Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.
Vanya,  a 3rd Year Engineering Student and a prolific Model lost her Father at the age of 2 years only. Being brought up wholly by Mother. She is currently doing her Electrical Engineering at PEC University of Technology.
She says, “I enjoy dance as an art form of expression and enjoy dances like Indian classical, salsa, bollywood, and freestyle.”
She gives a high priority to her education, “Being an academic and extremely passionate about higher education I am keen to pursue a degree in Masters of Business Administration once I finish my graduation”.
Vanya always had a knack for social work. As a child she used to visit the school of visually impaired with her mother and insisted that she would pledge her eyes.
“Hailing from a defence background, I would like to be the proud title holder of Miss World to make my country proud and be a great ambassador for India, as my father followed the credo of ‘Service before Self’, and it is this credo that propels and motivates me as I embark upon this extraordinary journey in the pursuit and realization of my dreams”, Vanya remarks.
She is crazy about sports and is a die hard fan of tennis star Roger Federer. Vanya believes a man’s most attractive physical feature is his smile.
