Ek Tha Tiger to make over 25 Crores as First Day Collection

Salman Khan Starrer Ek Tha Tiger has been screened in 3300 screens over the country, marking the largest domestic release for a Bollywood film. Around 60 percent of the first weekend sales received an advanced booking prior to the release.

Made with a high budget of Rs 75 Crores, the movie is expected to collect over Rs 25 Crores as First Day Collections. The Film broke all previous records including those made by Salman’s hit films like Dabangg, Bodyguard.

With all hit films there have always been centres or circuits that are not record breaking but this is not the case with Ek Tha Tiger, every centre and every circuit is on a record breaking spree.

According to  Critic Komal Nahata , it could also become the fastest movie to earn Rs 100 crore at the box office in the next 4-5 days.”

Nahata added that due to Thursday being a working day, there could be dip in occupancy. But he said that there would not be a crash in collections and Ek Tha Tiger is expected to continue with the dream run over the weekend with Eid on Monday.
