Rashtrapati Bhawan opens up for general Visitors

Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House) of India has been opened for general Visitors  on selected days  of week.  All Indian Citizens and Foreign Nationals can visit Rashtrapati Bhawan and Mughal Gardens by placing  a  formal request in advance.

A request for visit to Rashtrapati Bhavan can be placed –

(i) By sending email to dmsp@rb.nic.in
(ii) By sending a letter addressed to DMSP, President’s Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi-110004
(iii) Any query related to visit can also be made to Invitation Section on telephone numbers – 011-23012960, 23015321 Extn. 4229, 4479, Fax Number. 011-23013189.

Request for the visit should be made at least 3 days in advance for processing, along with the details of visitor’s name, address & contact numbers etc.

The visiting days of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Mughal Gardens are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Rashtrapati Bhavan is not open for visitors on Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday and other Govt. Gazetted holidays.
Timings of visit are from 0930 hrs to 1130 hrs and 1430 hrs to 1600 hrs.
The entry to Rashtrapati Bhavan for visit is through Gate No.2 (Rajpath) and Gate No.37 (Hukmimai Marg) of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
 For visit, Indian Citizens are required to carry valid photo ID cards. In case of foreigners, they should make their request for visit along with photocopies of their passport. On the day of visit, they are required to carry their original passport for identification.


The permission to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and Mughal Gardens is subject to cancellation, if circumstances render it necessary.
