Bihari Actress Neetu Chandra to be honored by Korea Government

Neetu ChandraKorea Government would honor Bollywood Actress Neetu Chandra for winning her Fourth Black Belt in Taek-Won-Do Martial Arts.

Representatives of South Korean Government are coming down to New Delhi to honor Neetu Chandra for her massive feat.

Neetu Chandra is the first Indian lady to achieve this.Before entering the film Industry, Neetu was a sportsperson.

She is a black belt holder in Taekwondo. She has represented India in Taekwondo, at the International Taekwondo Championship in Hong Kong in 1996, and in Korfball as well, at the Korfball World Championship in 1995 in New Delhi.

She was born in Patna and is a resident of Patliputra Colony. She did her schooling from the Notre Dame Academy, Patna and started modeling.

She entered Hindi film industry in 2005 with Garam Masala in which she portrayed Sweety, an airhostess. She also acted in Telugu film Godavari in 2006.

In 2007 she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film, Traffic Signal. She spent a whole week living on the streets of Mumbai and living by a traffic light, to study the character.
