New Delhi: Around 700 school children from different parts of the country, including about 550 from Delhi, will showcase cultural items at the Republic Day parade in the national capital Jan 26.
An official release said Saturday said that Eastern Zone Cultural Centre from Kolkata will present chhau dance drama of Purulia district in West Bengal.
Children from Kendriya Vidyalaya in New Delhi will present a dance item depicting environment, conservation and sustainable growth while students of Government Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in New Delhi will present a folk dance of Odisha.
