Fresh Compaint filed against Akbaruddin Owaisi for instigating Communal Hate

New Delhi: A  Fresh complaint has been filed against AIMMM legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi in a New Delhi police station  for allegedly giving inflammatory speeches in Andhra Pradesh.

“The complaint against Akbaruddin Owaisi was received Wednesday at Parliament Street police station,” said a Delhi police officer. Earlier, another complaint was also been filed in Andhra Pradesh in the same case.

Social activist Shabnam Hashmi, who filed the complaint, told IANS: “His speech was highly objectionable, inflammatory and against the country’s cultural heritage.”

Akbaruddin Owaisi is an All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen legislator while his elder brother Asaduddin Owaisi represents Hyderabad in the Lok Sabha.

In his almost two-hour long speech Dec 24 at Nirmal town at Andhra Pradesh, Akbaruddin Owaisi allegedly tried to instigate the crowd by calling for a “test of strength” against a community.
