New Delhi: As per the directive issued by RBI, all the branches of State Bank of India will remain open for transactions till 5 PM on 30th of this month. The move comes in the view of the ensuing Annual closing and holidays in several parts of the country in the last week of this month.
Branches conducting government business will also remain open till 5 PM on 29th and till midnight on 31st of this month.
The offices of Reserve Bank of India-RBI , conducting government business and designated branches of banks will also remain open on 29th, 30th and 31st of this month to facilitate tax collection.
The move comes in the view of the ensuing Annual closing and holidays in several parts of the country in the last week of this month. The RBI in a statement said that the facility for payment of taxes on-line and through select ATMs is also available.
