Bihar Government has announced 35 percent reservation for Women in all Police Jobs effective now onwards. CM Nitish Kumar made this announcement while inaugurating Bihar Diwas Ceremony at Gnadhi Maidan Patna yesterday.
Further, 50 percent seats would be reserved for Women in all Cooperative Organizations and PACS.
The Theme of 2013 Bihar Diwas is Women Empowerment and the announcement are fully to the tune of the theme.
Nitish Kumar also stressed that he wants every Girl of Bihar to get trained with Judo or Martial Arts. Till now only 1 Lakh Girls could be trained in MArtial Arts according to official sources.
Bihar already provides 50 percent reservation to women in all Panchayat and Local Bodies Elections. Further they are also given a similar reservation in the massive Teacher’s Recruitment Scheme of Bihar Government
