Patna Municipal Corporation introduces iconic E-Municipality

Patna Municipal Corporation (Patna Nagar Nigam)  which traditionally been regarded as a dull and ineffective body has stepped forward to revolutionize its services. Under this direction, the Corporation has decided to introduce the System of E-Municipality at a cost of Rs 15 Crores.

E-Municipality would allow residents of Patna to file Complaints online, get Birth and Death Certificates, and approval of the Building Designs.

  • Cleaning Operations at Various localities in the City

Patna Municipal Corporation  (PMC ) has been brought under revolutionary Right to Service Act Passed by Bihar Assembly. It has also declared  Citizen’s Charter  for various services offered.

Patna Municipal Corporation is the chief nodal agency for the administration of 110 sq. km area of Patna. It  was established in 1952 by a Special Act, brought by the Government of Bihar in 1951. It  is entrusted with planning of the city , water supply, education, finance, health, sanitation, revenue collection and host of other important activities. It also deals with issue of birth registration and death registration. The corporation handles  44 parks in the city.
