Patna would soon have direct flight connectivity with Kathmandu, Nepal. Bihar Tourism Ministry is on its way to start several new Air Routes in Bihar and Patna Kathmadu Flight service would be one of them.
According to Tourism Minister, Sunil Kumar Pinto, Indigo Airlines has expressed willingness to start New Delhi- Patna- Kathmandu Daily Flight Service. Other Private Carriers are also willing to connect Patna to other cities of Bihar like Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga and Gaya.
He was addressing a seminar on How to Promote Tourism in Bihar, Â at the Patna Industrial Expo 2013. The Seminar was organized by Bihar Industries Association at Patliputra Colony Ground.
Over 1 Million Foreign Tourists visited Bihar in 2012 which is over 10 times the same number in 2003.
