Bihar Government is planning to setup a Veterinary University by this year end. The Existing Veterinary and Dairy Colleges would be under this proposed Bihar Veterinary University. The Government intends to bring the bill to setup the University in the Monsoon session of Bihar Assembly.
The New Veterinary University would facilitate exhaustive research in the Animal Health and Cattle Development.
This was revealed by Animal Husbandry Minister in Bihar Government, Giriraj Singh at a function of Retired Veterinary Officers on Sunday.
