Bihar CM Nitish Kumar recently laid the foundation stone of Bhubaneshwar Sudama Medical College in Jandaha, Vaishali.
This would be the third Private Medical College in the State. Katihar Medical College, Katihar and Mata Gujri Medical College, Kishanganj are the twin Private Medical Colleges in Bihar at present.
Jandaha is known to be the second largest town of Vaishali after Hajipur. The Academic activities of this college are expected to be operational by 2015.
At present Bihar has 9 Operational Medical College and according to Government Sources, the State has proposals of at least 5 more medical colleges from Private Parties.
Few Days back, The State Assembly of Bihar has passed Bihar Private University Bill leading to the establishment of Private Universities in the State,
