Students from Bihar have fared average in the NEET 2013 Results, which was declared yesterday by Central Board of Secondary Education.
According to officials, 18533 Students from Bihar cleared this test it. while 3,66,317 students who have cleared the test nationally. Comparatively Bihar has performed better than other states but it cannot be said as of know which state has highest number of Successful Candidates.
Khushbu Kumari from Patna is the state Topper in Bihar as per the NEET 2013 Results.
The qualifying criteria for unreserved category was 50 percentile and 1,57,214 candidates qualified in this category out of the total 3,66,317 qualifying candidates. As per estimates the marks of general candidates fall in the range 691-698.
In all, 6,58,040 candidates appeared in the test conducted by CBSE at 1251 examination centres located in 85 cities all over India and abroad, said a CBSE statement.
The qualified candidates have to further complete the formalities with the respective counselling authorities, such as, DGHS, medical education directorates of states, AFMC, institutions and universities, for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
NEET 2013 was conducted by CBSE on May 5 for admission to 2600 Medical and Dental Seats across the Nation.
