Gurgaon: The Police have busted an illegal party at an Hookah Bar called Buzz in Gurgaon. Over 100 minors(including girls ) were caught by Gurgaon Police, drinking and smoking Hookah inside the Pub during a raid conducted around 4 PM on Sunday. Â Several of them were also found in compromising positions.
As per sources, the party was allegedly named Sex and Smoke and was organized through Social Networking Site Facebook. The Participants of the party (both boys and Girls) had paid Rs 600 per person for the extravaganza and mostly belonged to the reputed schools of the city.
The Police raid team was led by DCP Maheshwar Dayal. The Police has arrested Anil Kumar, the manager of the pub Buzz and has sealed the place. It is illegal to serve Alcohol to people under 25 years of age.
According to Dayal,” They were serving liquor and hookah to minors. Hookah is banned altogether. The manager should not have allowed these children inside, let alone serve them. The club authorities, despite our clear instructions, made no efforts to check the age proof of the children. We have written to the excise department to take action against the pub and cancel their licence, as it had been served notice earlier as well”.
As of Children, they were handed over to parents after serving a warning.
Buzz Bar in Gurgaon is one of the prominent lounge in the city mostly famous for late night club parties.
