Mumbai: Shiv Sena MLA Anil Kadam has been charged with Cases of Molestation of Toll Booth Staff after a Video Footage surfaced him reacting angrily to the Female staff of Toll Booth Staff and  Sena Men Vandalizing the booth near Pimpalgaon Baswant on Mumbai-Agra National Highway three days back. Anil Kadam is an MLA from Niphad Constituency of Maharashtra.
As per rules MLAs are exempted from Tolls, but Anil Kadam was travelling in a private car and when he was asked to pay the toll, he lost his cool and abused the staff demanding it.
Police have registered offences against the Sena leader under sections 451 (house-trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment), 354 (a)(assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 427 (mischief causing damage), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 and 507, they said.
After the incident  he was asked to submit his resignation from assembly membership by  party chief Uddhav Thackeray on grounds of misconduct.
“Owning the responsibility of the toll-booth incident, Kadam tendered his resignation as party legislator,” Uddhav Thackeray said.
