The News of Death of Nana Patekar has been doing rounds of Internet since last evening. Fans across the World kept themselves busy spreading this information on Facebook, Twitter and Blogs. Some attributed it to an accident on the Mumbai-Pune expressway and others to a heart attack.
Nana Patekar is miffed over his death rumours
Adding fuel to the suspense, his mobile phone was either switched off or out of coverage area.  However this turned out to be a hoax or rumour of unknown source. Talking to Zee Media, he said that  he was  perfectly fine. Nothing is wrong with me, he reportedly said.
“I was dubbing for a film and had switched of my cell phone as I stepped out of the studios I was shocked to hear news about my health. Look I will give heart attack to others not get one.I received calls from well wishers and family who were troubled and disturbed with such rumours,” said Nana Patekar, talking later to reporters.
