Babulal Nagar, a minister in the incumbent Rajasthan Government has been charged in a Sexual Assault Case. Â The Case was registered following the order of a local court in Jaipur.
According to Media Reports, a woman had filed a judicial complaint accusing the minister of raping her. In the complaint she alleges that the minister called her to his house on September 11 on the pretext of giving a job. Upon her arrival, Babulal offered her a drink and assured jobs for her as well as her family members.  He then sexually assaulted her and warned her against revealing this to anyone. However two days later, she filed a complaint  before the Chief Judicial magistrate at Jaipur.
Babulal Nagar currently holds the portfolio of   Minister of State for Food and Civil supplies in the Ashok Gehlot led State  Government. He belongs to Indian National Congress and is a MLA from Dudu (Jaipur).
Talking to media persons, Babulal  has refuted all allegations and said he will prove his innocence.
