Actor Ranveer Singh’s condition continues to be critical of Dengue

Actor Ranveer Singh, whose much hyped Film Ramleela is up to release next month is himself fighting a dreaded battle with Dengue in a Mumbai Suburban Hospital. Reports say that his condition has not improved, but it continues to be stable.

His Blood platelet count hasn’t improved and he is experiencing excruciating pain in his bones and severe bouts of shivering. His parents are keeping vigil but they too are not allowed to meet him.

Ranveer contracted an infection and high fever during the Durgapur shoot of “Gunday” but chose to continue to shoot as per the schedule inspite of the illness and discomfort, so as to not cause any inconvenience and loss to the production. On his return to Mumbai he was diagnosed with a severe case of dengue fever.

According to reports, Ranveer has been kept in isolation for now. Earlier, doctors were planning to shift him to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but they have now decided against it.

His much awaited movie Ramleela is scheduled to be released on November 15, in which he is paired with Deepika Padukone. The Movie is based upon the Shakespeare’s drama Romeo and Juliet set in the backdrop of Gujarat. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
