CAT 2013 Results to be distributed by NIC

The Results of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013, to be declared on January 14 would be distributed by National Informatics Center (NIC). The Results is likely to be available on results.nic.in, the Integrated Results website hosted by NIC. The Results link would also be available for download on CAT 2013 Website.

According to Shiksha.com, NIC was handed over the Results after reports of tampering of Results took place last year by a Private Firm involved in Results Distribution. The Results of as many as 80 Candidates were found to be inflated, which was later revealed to be a scandal.

“We are not distributing results through any third party. The results will be in our hands. NIC is a Government of India entity. In 2012, NIC had taken over distributing the results at a later stage,” CAT convener Rohit Kapoor told Shiksha.com.

The Results as well as Score card would be available for download to only those candidates who have appeared for CAT 2013.

The scorecard will not be available for the candidates due to any of the reasons given below:

  1. Did not appear for the test (No show)
  2. Did not accept the Non-Disclosure Agreement within stipulated time (NDA Time Out)
  3. Did not comply with the policies or unethical / fraudulent behavior shown during the test.

In CAT 2013,conducted between October 16 and November 11, as many as 1,73,738 candidates competed for 3335 Seats in prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIM).
