As per reports, Salman Khan was the host for Star Guild Awards 204 while SRK was among the Recipients of the Awards.

Salman broke the ice first by asking “Shah Rukh kya ho raha hai?” (Shahrukh, What’s Up?). He even congratulated SRK on the success of ‘Chennai Express’ to which the latter waved, acknowledging Salman’s compliment. Salman also made SRK say ‘Jai Ho’ (Salman’s upcoming movie), which the King Khan jovially obliged to.

When Shah Rukh came on stage to take away ‘Entertainer of the Year Award’ – Salman was on stage and the duo shaked hands, hugged each other. Shah Rukh returned the compliments while accepting the award, when he said “it feels special to get this award in the company of Salman who is one of the greatest entertainers the country has ever seen”.

The Spat between the two actors started in 2008 during the birthday party of Katrina Kaif. The things went ugly, however with Salman-Katrina Breakup, fans were expecting a patch up between the two.

In 2013, the two happened to face each other at Congress leader Baba Siddique’s Iftaar party, but no signs of friendship was visible.

In December 2013, at the Chat Show Koffee with Karan, Salman called Shahrukh, greatest Romantic Hero. Shahrukh also publicly acknowledged the compliment. Shahrukh also said that somone canot be in his good books by criticizing Salman.

Finally with Star Guild Awards, the differences seem to be melting away, while Director Karan Johar plans to cast them in the remake of Superhit film Deewar.
