Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2014, would be conducted across 46 cities across the World on Sunday 5th January 2014. The noted Entrance Test, conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur,  would be used for admission to PG full time programme at over 100 reputed Management Institutes across the country. Unlike CAT and CMAT, it would be a Pen and Paper based examination where candidates would fill choices on a OMR Answer Sheets.
XAT 2014 would be conducted across India in the following  44 Indian cities apart from Dubai and Kathmandu.
Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam.
The Results for XAT 2014, would be announced online latest by January 31, 2014. Those who intend to take admission to XLRI Jamshedpur using their XAT Scores need to apply separately with the Institute.
