The Intermediate Examination conducted by Bihar School Education Board begins today across 882 Centers in all 38 districts of the State. Around  9.8 Lakh Students are scheduled to take the examination beginning today out of which  4,61,460are appearing for Science Stream while 4,42,810 are appearing in Arts Stream. The number of Students taking exam in Commerce Stream is reported to be  77,508.
Initially there was some delay over the availability of Admit Cards, due to strike at various colleges and universities,  however it has been made available online on the website of Bihar Examination Board www.biharboard.net, says Amarjeet Sinha , Principal secretary to the Education department in Bihar.
The Examination would be held from February 15 to February 28. The Examination would be held in two Shifts. The First Shift would start from 9:45 AM and the Second shift from 1:45 PM. Candidates would get 15 minutes extra for Reading Question Papers.

The Results of Intermediate Examination for all the streams are expected to be declared in May 2014.
