Lesbian Ireen Wust wins Gold in 3km Speed Skating at Sochi Olympics

Sochi:  Dutch Ireen Wust won the women’s 3,000 metres speedskating event at the Winter Olympics here on February 09, Sunday

Wust clocked four minutes and 0.34 seconds to beat defending champion Martina Sablikova of the Czech Republic, who finished second in 4:01.95. Russia’s Olga Graf took the bronze in 4:03.47, reports Xinhua.

Some news reports claim Ireen Wust cuddling with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Holland Heineken House on Sunday night after the day’s events.

“I got a cuddle from him,” Wust told Dutch national broadcaster NOS.

“He congratulated me and asked if everything was OK in Russia, and I congratulated him on Olga Graf, of course, for her third place” finish, Wust said. “He was happy to see me, but then he had to leave again.”

“But I cuddled him,” she stated.
