Mumbai: Indian Playboy Girl Shanti Dynamite celebrated Holi, the festival of color at the MIG Cricket Club here.

The M. I. G. Cricket Club is one of the foremost cricket clubs in Mumbai and has a formidable cricket team playing in the ‘A’ division of Dr H. D. Kanga League Tournament as well as in all major tournaments in the city other senior level tournaments organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and MIG had a continuous association since the late 1980s, and it’s recalled the batting legend’s regular practice stints there before a major international series. Sachin Tendulkar is associated with the club and his son Arjun Tendulkar also practices at the MIG cricket academy.

Shanti Dynamite was the Guest of honor along with Satish Reddy at the MIG Club, she was taken on the stage by Chairman Pravin Barve and she was introduced to all the members and the guest. Shanti said, “I am very happy to play my first ever Holi on the place of legend cricketers.” Though Shanti Dynamite grew up in a Punjabi household and had heard about Indians festivals, she had never had a first-hand experience of any. And now, she has celebrated Holi on the Cricketers land.

Shanti Dynamite who had colored herself into the colors of Gulaal said, “It was very auspicious moment for me as I am celebrating my first ever Holi in India on the Dream Land of Cricketers. I have heard that Holi is a spring festival is known as the festival of colors but it is the festival of love. I love this festival very much I enjoyed with small children’s and girls armed with dry colours, pichkaris and balloons. I love Aamchi Mumbai Jai Maharashtra.”

Shanti who always stood for women empowerment appreciated the MIG Club effort who had started hosting Women`s Cricket World Cup, she said, “MIG Club is really doing a wonderful thing by giving platform to women who are equal to men.”
