Remo D’Souza reveals why he changed his name from Ramesh Gopi

New Delhi: Director-choreographer Remo D’Souza says he was born as Ramesh Gopi, but changed it to Remo after getting his parents’ approval.

The director of movies like “F.A.L.T.U” and “ABCD: Anybody Can Dance”, confessed during an interview on Disney channel’s “Captain Tiao” that Remo was a name he chose for himself, said a statement.

“My real name is Ramesh Gopi. Though I love the name that my parents kept for me, I also like the name Remo a lot. Not to mention, I even took permission from my parents before I changed my name from Ramesh to Remo,” he said.

The episode will be aired Sunday at 10 a.m.
