Mumbai: Fans of historical TV show “Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap” have a reason to rejoice as the show’s time slot has been extended from half an hour to one hour.

Starting May 12, the show will be aired 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. every Monday to Thursday on Sony Entertainment Television. As a result Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar starrer “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” will now be beamed at 11 p.m.

“From the coming week, the show is set to go on air for a duration of one hour, which means more action, drama and entertainment,” said a statement from the channel.

The show has been gaining in popularity due to its talented actors and strong storyline, and if a source is to be believed, the increasing popularity and demand from the viewers made the makers increase the show’s duration.

The show, inspired by the life and times of the 16th century Rajput ruler, has also been awarded. It was honoured with six awards at the 13th Indian Television Academy Awards last year.
