Gurgaon police arrest 3 women sex workers from Uzbekistan

Gurgaon: Three women from Uzbekistan were arrested here for their alleged involvement in sex trade, police Monday said.

The women, aged between 20 and 25, were arrested from a house in South-City Phase-I of Gurgaon.

“House No.B-37, from where the trio was arrested, was on rent hired by Manoj Kumar, a resident of village Brahi in Jhajjar district of Haryana. The house was raided on Sunday night,” chief of Sector-40 police station Jaiprakash told IANS.

“Manoj, who is absconding with his accomplice Karan, was running the sex racket of foreign women from the rented house,” he said.

The arrested foreigners were presented in the court of duty magistrate Sachin Yadav, who sent the accused to jail for 14 days.

“We are looking for the main accused Manoj, who trafficked the Uzbek women from Nepal, and his aide Karan. They will be arrested soon,” Jaiprakash said.
