Farah Khan was spotted launching the music of upcoming film ‘Mrs. Scooter’ at an event held in Mumbai recently. Directed by débutante Shiladitya Moulik, the film is based in a small town in western Uttar Pradesh. It narrates the story of love and resilience of a bride and a scooter, caught in the midst of a difficult social situation.

While not much is known about the plot of movie, some websites have revealed a brief story. A mid-level clerk Bhushan brings home, on the same day, two things that are close to his heart – his new scooter and his new bride Aashima. But just one day later Bhushan loses his life in an accident separating his two prized possessions.

The film follows the decline and decay of both Aashima and the scooter, who seem to have been abandoned by fate as well. Alone, unprotected and unloved their lives seem to be heading for a compromise forced by the people around them until the very end, when they are happily reunited by the unpredictable hand of fortune.

The entire film was shot in Aligarh in a span of one month. Anjali Patil, a National Award winning actress is playing the lead in the film and most of the others actors are from the National School of Drama (NSD).
