He added that he has come to Delhi to meet the ministers in the central government and no to meet any BJP leader. Meanwhile, Manjhi was expelled by his party JD (U) after he refused to step down as CM to make way for Nitish Kumar.

Earlier, Manjhi met Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Manjhi’s meeting with Singh assumes significance as the JD (U) has alleged that the former is working at the behest of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Manjhi is presently in the national capital to attend the wedding reception of BJP president Amit Shah’s son. Senior JD (U) leader and former Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar had earlier accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP of ‘attempting to throttle democracy’.

Even as political crisis in Bihar keeps on deepening, political leaders put forth their views on the ongoing developments in the state. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi said that Jitan Ram Manjhi and BJP is against Nitish Kumar but the situation will not end up on President’s rule in the sate.

Congress leader Manish Tewari said that it’s not the crisis in Bihar but a conspiracy by BJP. NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that there is an intention of creating conditions of President’s rule in Bihar which is created by BJP. Meanwhile, BJP refuted any relations with Bihar political crisis and with the JD (U).

Union minister and BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said that the BJP has no role in Bihar political crisis. Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, he said that the situation arose over JD (U)’s internal squabbles.

BJP leader and former deputy chief minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi has alleged that Bihar’s development has gone for a complete toss ever since JD(U) quit the alliance with BJP in Bihar.
