As per reports, Mr. Manjhi would seek the the Vote of Confidence immediately after the Governor’s address on the opening day of Budget Session. It is however not clear if there would be provision of Secret Ballot as demanded by Jitan Manjhi.

Meanwhile, Patna High Court has virtually stayed Nitish Kumar’s elevation as the Leader of Party Legislature. Mr. Kumar, who is presently camped in Delhi yesterday met President Pranab Mukherjee, a day after flying 130 MLAs to the National Capital on the pretext of parading them before the President. Kumar asserts that since he has the majority with support of 130 MLAs, any delay in letting him form the Government is unconstitutional.

Amid the cries of political acquisitions, Jitan Manjhi yesterday received and unexpected support from RJD Leader Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav. He urged RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad to reconsider his decision removing Manjhi as the CM.
