New Delhi: : The Delhi Police on Monday said it was under the impression that energy consultant Lokesh, who has been arrested in connection with the espionage case, was active in two or three ministries and sold the procured official papers to other firms also.

Earlier in the day, few others were also detained in the espionage case. Lokesh was working with a Noida-based energy consultant firm ‘Infraline’. Meanwhile, Lokesh has been sent to five-day police custody.

With this, the number of people arrested in this corporate espionage case has reached 13.

Politicos on Sunday demanded throrough investigation in the corporate espionage case which had rocked the whole nation. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that scam will be investigated and the culprits will be brought to book. AAP leader Ashutosh and JD (U) leader KC Tyagi demanded thorough probe in the document leak case.

Reacting over former journalist Santanu Saikia’s allegations in Corporate Espionage Case, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday ruled out any suggestion that the authorities were covering up matters, and said Saikia was only trying to save his own skin. Saikia, who was arrested by the Delhi Police yesterday in connection with the alleged leak of confidential documents from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) to private oil companies, today created a sensation by claiming that it was a Rs 10,000 crore scam and that he was just covering it
