The lust-filled movie adaptation of best-selling novel “Fifty Shades of Grey” makes a sexy opening weekend run at the box office, bringing in a handsome $81.7 million in ticket sales.

The film starring James Dornan and Dakota Johnson is about a kinky relationship between a businessman and a college student.

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” – an adaptation of a popular comic series – came in not so secretly second at the box office with $35.6 million, according to ticket sales.

And – watch out for that sponge out of water, in “The SpongeBob Movie.” The film based on the hit Television show, soaking up $30.5 million in tickets at U.S. and Canadian theaters.
