BPSC Preliminary Exam held across 690 centres in Bihar today

The Preliminary Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission was held across the state today.Being held after 4 years, this exam would select candidates for 56th, 57th, 58th and 59th BPSC. In total 746 seats are vacant to be filled through this examination. The Examination was held at 690 centres across 35 districts of Bihar.

For Long time, no BPSC Examination was conducted. This delay was due to certain circumstances, including court cases and delay in roaster clearance. The notification regarding this examination was made on 1st September 2014.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Bihar according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.

The Results of this BPSC Preliminary Examination is likely to be released by April end or early May.
