Circuitboards and computer chips inspire Mugler in Paris

Mugler got creative with computer chips on Saturday (March 7) with a monochrome Autumn/Winter 2015/16 collection at Paris fashion week that embraced the binary.

Designer David Koma’s collection was full of opposites — black and white, daring yet conservative, thigh-high slits and stiff raised collars — and was inspired by all things digital.

The Georgian designer was presenting only his second collection for the established French label after his Spring/Summer debut last year and the figure-hugging silhouette from spring was back. Just as last season, he chose to emphasis the sex appeal of unsung parts of the body with cutouts around the hip and exposed shoulders.

Among the models was Karlie Kloss who appeared in a black slit maxidress with small discs exposing the skin edging up her thighs.
