Iran is no different than ISIS, Israeli PM tells US Congress

In his speech to Congress on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the Iranian regime will always be an enemy of America, and its battle against Islamic State does not make it a friend.

Netanyahu warned the United States against agreeing to a nuclear deal with Iran and working with a country “deeply rooted in militant Islam.”

“We must always remember the greatest danger facing our world is the marriage of militant Islam with nuclear weapons. To defeat ISIS and let Iran get nuclear weapons would be to win the battle but lose the war, we can’t let that happen.”

“Iran’s regime poses a grave threat, not only to Israel but also to the peace of the entire world,” he said in remarks to the U.S. Congress.

“We must all stand together to stop Iran’s march of conquest, subjugation and terror,” he told U.S. lawmakers.
