Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar sat on a day long fast in state capital Patna on Saturday to register his party’s protest against the Land Acquisition Bill. The hunger protest is taking place at party’s headquarters.
Earlier this week, the Lok Sabha passed the Land Acquisition Bill via a voice vote. Nine amendments to the bill have been adopted.
