These are the ice caves in Bayfield, Wisconsin.

For just a $5 fee, visitors can trek across what park rangers say is ice about 16 inches thick.

Under the ice piques curiosity as well.

GARY RASDORF, A VISITOR FROM KOHLER, WISCONSIN, SAYS:

“I think just the depth of the water that you can see down. you’re almost afraid your first few steps you’re going to fall in. And then you’re like, ‘this is really thick.'”

Park rangers say it won’t be long before the ice starts to melt.

LANCE TWOMBLY, OPERATIONS MANAGER, SAYS: “You know, anything after mid-March is suspect for the ice. It’s going to be warming up.”

So visitors are getting in while they can, taking in the breath-taking views and an icy winter wonderland.
