Agitated students in Bengaluru protest over discrepancy in PU results

Bengaluru, May 23 (ANI): Students in the Bengaluru city protested over pre-university examination results, declared on Monday alleging discrepancy. For the last three days, students have been demanding that the examination board set right the discrepancies in marksheets. A student, Mathu who was among the students complaining about the results, said that she could not believe her eyes when she saw her results and that she became extremely disappointed. The BJP has joined the protestors in their cause and extended their support to the demonstrating students. BJP leader Ramesh Kumar said that it was the fourth day of protests and yet the education. He added that the state Education Minister Kimane Ratnakar has agreed to postpone the announcement of the Common Entrance Test (CET) taking into consideration the “worry in the minds of the students and their parents”.
