Birbhum, May 24 (ANI): A crude bomb blast took place at TMC leader Buro Hansda’s residence in Birbhum’s Ilambazar area on Sunday morning.
Hansda’s wife Chunki Hansda died on spot and the TMC leader sustained serious injuries. The blast occurred early morning at around 2: 30 am. Hansda was admitted to Burdwan Medical College and provided medical assistance.
Reportedly, a miscreant allegedly hurled a bomb at Hansda’s house. Police rushed to the spot and are trying to ascertain the cause for the blast. Further details are awaited.
