CBSE Class 10th Exam 2015 Results to be delayed by few days: Board Officials

The Results of CBSE Class 10 Board Examinations 2015, which was scheduled to be announced today (May 27), might get delayed by few days, if some news reports are to be believed. According to Indian Express, the CBSE Board officials have hinted that the results might get delayed as the Board is not finished with preparing the results. There is no official communication from CBSE in this regard. The Website of CBSE Results has no update about the date of declaration of the result.

Earlier, CBSE had said that the Class 10th Results would be announced on May 27.

Like previous years, girls are expected to outshine Boys in the total number of passed candidates. Unlike Class 12, CBSE doesnot provide total scores for candidates in the examination. Only Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is provided.

The Class 10 Examination of CBSE was held in the month of March 2015 and more than 13 Lakh students had appeared in the examination.

The Results of Class 12 Examination was declared on May 25. Gayatri M of New Delhi became All India Topper by scoring 496 out of 500.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. It affiliates all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India.

CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year in the month of March. The results are announced by the end of May. It also conducts joint Competitive Examination for admission to Engineering and Medical Colleges in the country.
